Belinda žije v Austrálii a ako mnoho žien, aj ona sa po pôrode vyhovárala, že nemá čas sa zdravšie stravovať alebo cvičiť. Potom v jeden večer uvidela krásne vyšportovanú ženu a povedala dnes už svojmu exmanželovi, že aj ona túži po takom tele. Ten ju okamžite odrovnal a povedal, že tak vyzerať nikdy nebude. Lenže, práve tento komentár Belindu poriadne motivoval a naštartoval.

The fact is this is not a transformation photo of physical characteristics even though I know it will be judged as BEFORE and AFTER . (Cue - hate mail; cue fat is fabulous ...body shaming of all types etc) but thank you to those who comment who seek to understand and can be open to all differences. Ahh Maturity 🙏🏽 This is a photo of confidence characteristics & of internal health; posture; and mental wellness because I cannot cut myself open so you can see the truth. If I could - I would. ↪️I would share the absolute fear I had of success, the shame I held for giving up; I would share my mum guilt and hurt, I would share my traditional upbringing that we 70’s women had to quickly adapt to in a new world of thinking. I would share my personal uncertainty of how I could fit in a life around two kids and working full time as I had to work. I would share my fear of my husband cheating again, I would share my internal fight. I would endure the embarrassment of everyone knowing of the deceit. But could it be seen? No - because we hide that good stuff deep inside. We don’t want to share that. ▪️So here goes .. 29 years old vs 43 years old What changed? a lot! A lot in the society, a lot in relationships, a lot in media and a lot in me. Belinda bola telocvikárkou, a tak sa rozhodla využiť svoje znalosti, aby si vytvorila cvičiaci a stravovací plán, ktorý by zapadal do jej životnej rutiny s dvoma deťmi. „Nasledovala som tieto kroky. Vytvor si stravovací plán, začni cvičiť, buď vytrvalá a krok číslo štyri... Odmeň sa masážami, nie čokoládou,“ hovorí Belinda. Priznáva, že už po piatich mesiacoch videla obrovský rozdiel.

‘Cry a little; and laugh a lot. Be thankful for what you’ve got’ x Today I was sent the most thoughtful message by a person I’ve never met on Instagram message. She asked if I was ok? She had noticed I’d been quiet over the weekend (not sharing as much) she loves my feed; my food & happy vibes. She said she understood my ‘real’ job would be difficult right now. As I read the words it made me cry. ↪️To be totally honest - as teacher and over this past week - we as a profession have been hammered. Not only by media; our government but by parents. Absolutely disgracefully emailed, abused and unappreciated on more levels than we would speak of normally. We understand how difficult it is currently, we truly do. But to be sent emails at all hours of night over the weekend; then reading social media troll type post about my teaching colleagues and myself. I truly wonder why we do this job. However I do know though - it’s because we love your kids. We genuinely want the best for them. We believe in giving respect and getting it. If you are unsure - we the teachers want to go back to our classrooms. We want our students filing our schools with energy. We want to teach them; inspire them and bring laughter in learning. I beg of you - stop the hate. We too are parents; we too are working educating and then coming home to more home schooling. We too want simplicity, ease and direction and we understand. Blondínke sa tak podarilo schudnúť neskutočných dvadsať kíl. A aj keď si myslí, že cvičenie jednoznačne pomohlo, kľúčové bolo podľa nej práve jedlo. Na raňajky si dáva väčšinou banán, čučoriedky a ovsenú kašu, kým na obedy a večere je to väčšinou kura, ryby a sladké zemiaky.

Bringing it back to 2015 feels... except it’s 2020 covid style. This spot 5 years earlier (see IGSTORY) a lot has changed since that day. I think ... Samu seba zastavila pred jedením zvyškov, ktoré našla doma, nikdy nechodí nakupovať jedlo, keď je hladná a vymenila biele pečivo za ovsené. Aj tomu vďačí za tak badateľný rozdiel na jej tele. Priznáva však, že dôležité je aj jej cvičenie – 4krát do týždňa a fakt, že sa snaží prechádzať aspoň pol hodinu denne.

Belinda dokonca vydala knihu, v ktorej sa snaží ostatným mamičkám poradiť ako zhodiť kilá, ktoré nabrali počas tehotenstva. Sama priznáva, že to nie je len o tom, aby ste boli chudé, ale aj pre vaše zdravie.

„Život v našej rodine je teraz tiež oveľa jednoduchší. Každý vie, čo jeme, obedové a večerné menu sa nám striedajú a snažím sa pridávať neustále aj nové zdravé recepty,“ dodáva nadšená Belinda.
